burnt brown matte kylie jenner make up

I mean I use the word summer very loosely obviously living in England but hey – maybe that’s why I’m just wishing Autumn along already. This limbo is a tad tiresome and I can’t help but long for boots, coats, scarves and chestnut latte’s already. Ah a girl can dream! Anyway I digress. Kylie Jenner made this kinda shade popular but I’ve always loved a burnt brown lip for a warm beauty look.

Products used:

MAC Watertight Foundation (£25.50) in NC37 (IT’s wearing a little dark now since I lost my tan) but I love the light, liquid, medium coverage it offers.

Concealer under my eyes is the new Rainforest of the Sea – Aquacealer Tarte in Light Medium. This is my favourite formula of concealer as it rarely creases, brightens my problem area and doesn’t look cake.

As a base to my shadow I use Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Shadow in Jean It’s pricey at £22 but it leaves your lids with the silkiest neutral base and applying it to your inner eye really opens up your eyes.

Too Faced, Chocolate bar Palette (£39.00)  To get this look I used Coconut Cream as the base shadow.

To add warm depth to the look I prep the crease with MAC’s Coppering shadowOBSESSED with this velvety foil colour that has the perfect blend of red, brown and gold.

BonBon and Frosting in my crease then patted on Caramel in the middle for a foiled, gold lid. LOVE how easy to blend these shadows are.

Cheeks are flushed with MAC’s Ambering Rose (£18.50) – this warm, red-gold brown matches the Coppering shadow perfectly.

Brows are filled with Anastasia Beverly HillsBrown Wiz in Dark Brown. Fave brow product ever but i hate that for all three I’ve had the spooley breaks off.

Mascara – the one and only Benefit’s Roller Lash (£19.50) <3

ciate pin up velvet liquid lipstick swatch review

I finished the look with a lipstick that Fleur De Force introduced me to the Ciate Liquid Velvet Lipstick in Pin Up while we were out in L.A.

This dusty, berry shade suit almost any skin tone with its warm hues but what I love most about this formula is that it’s a hydrating matte vs a drying one. Definitely want to pick up more shades!

Hope you like the look! Let me know what you think @RemaGouyez on social or in the comments below.

It first happened when I was fifteen years old. I joined a girl band and was introduced to a world that led me down a dangerous path. I thought it’d work out fine and I wouldn’t regret it but I soon did after I went a little too wild. Dying my natural, thick locks every shade of purple, pink and blue was a big mistake. Just like my mother said it would be.

perfume reviews floral fragrance best gift, marc jacobs, maison martin margiela, replica, flower market, red roses, jo mane, flower, kenzo, flower in the air

In years gone by a floral focused scent was rarely my poison of choice. I preferred my floral notes laced with pink pepper and sitting comfortably under a fruiter note to make the perfect powdery elixir.

That being said! The recent Chelsea Flower Show in London inspired me to pull out my collectibles of flower focused fragrances…

Despite the endless number of choices, finding food in London can be such a feat some times. I know my foodie friends will probably cringe when they see my chain picks in this post but let me preface this by saying this isn’t a round-up of the best places to eat in the city.

It’s more a guide to the places I’ll pop in to when looking for food on the go on a work day. I will say that the coffee shop I mention is probably my favourite in the city for hot chocolate – and I’ve tried a LOT of hot chocolate!
