Best make up for travelling with: new in beauty favourites

Between 7am gym classes and hitting the road every other weekend, I’ve started to develop a need for downsizing my make up bag. All that with the intention of still maintaining ample choice in beauty looks. Over the last couple of weeks I’ve built up a routine that doesn’t sacrifice quality but still pulls together perfectly for a weekend away. Currently sunning it up in my home town of Tangier Morocco, check out the products that have made the cut for my travel bag!

  1. NEW Lancome Teint Idol Nude- This foundation is rocking my world right now. The packaging is a copycat of Chanel’s Vita Lumiere so easy to travel with and unbreakable to the clumsy amongst us. Above all I’m mad over the formula. After a few years of wet looking, dewy skin I’m over it an in the mood for a fresh matte that exudes a youthful glow. Enter this new Lancome foundation that has a liquid to powder texture that’s incredibly lightweight – a straight up 10/10for me. To ensure my skin is well hydrated for such a base I’m wearing Sunday Riley’s Juno oil underneath for a ‘lit from within’ glow.
  2. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer- I’ve been through a couple of these now and a HUGE fan of this brightening concealer. I need my undereye to be brightened up so wear shade three for brightening without a chalky finish. This concealer feel and looks like it smooths the skin and lifts it slightly. The coverage is perfect enough to cover shadows but without the creasing.
  3. Charlotte Tilbury Glowing, Pretty, Skin Palette – Everything I need in one palette that’s great for travelling and popping in to your gym bag. Featuring a bronzer, finishing powder, two blushes and two highlighters. Absolute dream palette for a subtle blush and glow.
  4. YSL Beauty – The Slim Lipstick in 12 – This muted rose pink is incredibly pigmented but glides on ever so smooth for matte finish. One of my favourite matte lipsticks out there without drying your lips out. Perfect for this extra cold weather. Can’t rate this formula enough!
  5. Lancome Brow Define Pencil in 12 – This mechanical pencil comes in many shades so you’re bound to find the right fit. For me a brown pencil with a spooly is a non negotiable. In order to achieve full, defined brows that look natural you need to brush as much as possible. The pencil is extra thin so travels well!
  6. Lancome crayon Kohl in Brown – I’ve used the Grandiose liner in black as a base then topped with the brown eye pencil for a smokey bronze result. Popping this pencil in to your waterline adds a sultry effect.
  7. Benefit Rollerlash Mascara – Forever a staple mascara of mine, Rollerlash lengthens and curls my lashes for maximum false effect definition.
