Brush Porn: The Players of Product

{The Players}

If we’re going to stand here and stare at the hottie in the room then the brightly-bristled, beauty that is the Dior brush is blushing. Other brush beauties that have taken their place in my brush jars are there because they work so well, others are just, straight gorgeous. This handful have recently stolen the show and here’s why…

{Paradise summer Blush Brush – Limited Edition – $55}

This ‘Paradise Summer’, beauty is so soft you’ll want to fall asleep on it. It’s a $55 brush, is it worth it? Yes. Dior’s release of this blush brush is what sparked the inspiration for this post. Could a brush be more sexy? Pink, black, silver soft. Just let me touch…

{Real Techniques Powder Brush – $12.49}

The bigger the better. There’s something about massive brushes that just draws me in and I love the way this one perfectly collects my Nars setting powder and spreads it evenly. You can buy these ridiculously inexpensive brushes at Farleyco.ca.

{Real Techniques Expert Face Brush – $9.99}

Imagine what would happen if a stippling brush and a foundation brush had a baby…this would be it. A hybrid brush that collects your foundation and buffs it so flawlessly to give you the perfect canvas. Spread, pat, buff, sweep — whatever you want your foundation to do this brush will make it happen. Officially my favourite foundation brush — evur.

The big boy at the back is the Victoria Secret Instant Bronzing Shimmer Powder brush. Want your décolleté to look sexy in seconds? This makes it happen.

The bright pink mini is The Body Shop’s Blush Brush from the Leona Lewis collection which you can read more about here. I just love to pull this out in public. Talk about stand-out.

The little bubba at the front is the bronzer brush that comes with the Dior bronzers. It always has a place in my purse as the emergency mini. Whenever I’m in a pickle this brush seems to appear at the bottom of my bag — out of nowhere, I swear.

*Please note that these brushes were sent for consideration, and they passed!

    Love the title of this post. Have you tried the kabuki brush by ELF?
