From fro to flowing – Crystaliste gives me perfect hair

{Free-flowing}

I have African hair. Blessed (or not so much in her eyes) with the Moroccan curls that my mother gave me, I often find myself looking at Caucasian hair, longing to have those pin-straight strands that don’t go wild at the touch of humidity. Many a bad hair day I’ve lived through and my blow-outs never quite gave me the smooth and light texture I was looking for, until now.

{The Kerastase Crystaliste set}

Despite picking it up myself, I received this set as a Christmas gift from said, awesome mother of mine in return for a Kerastase set of her very own. We’re party-poopers like that. I knew ahead of time that the line wouldn’t be incredibly hydrating which really didn’t matter in the end because the results were the smoothest of criminals.

{Soft waves}

Since moving to Canada I lost of lot of hair and my strands suddenly became super fine despite the fro I’m usually sporting. Perfect for fine hair the Crystaliste line makes your hair feel incredibly clean and you’re left with the shiniest of free-flowing locks. It honestly feels like there’s air between each and every strand.

{Bain Crystal}

{Lumiere Liquide}

In this case I’ll have to be one of those people and say that you really have to use the whole line together to get the best results. I’ve tried it with just the cleanser and conditioner but the serum really adds to the lightweight finish that we all want from our blow-dry. I received the line in a Holiday set but you can purchase it all on loosebutton.com starting at $36. If you’re looking for something that’s moisturizing then this isn’t the line for you. Saying that, who doesn’t want shiny, light hair

    Wow this does wonders for your hair! It looks gorgeous!

    I kind of see what you mean though about using the entire set vs. just one product. I’ve been using the shampoo w/a different conditioner and haven’t been overly impressed… maybe an excuse to pick up the Cristalliste conditioner as well? 😉

      Thanks Louise! My hair is really difficult to manage so I’m really happy with how smooth and light these products make my hair. I would fully agree that you would have to use the entire line to get the results. Perhaps the serum will have the biggest impact when styling? Let me know how it goes for you!
