I first stumbled across Desenio on Little Big Bell and was just in awe of the bright, colour prints she’d styled together. A good two hours later I’d found the posters online and was lost in the endless combinations that I’d put together for my mum’s living room…

And hallway, and stairway…

Top tip…If you know your way around Photoshop (or even paint!) screenshot the prints you like and start building them on to a page so you can see how your gallery wall will look before you buy.

I personally would have gone for more abstract prints like this and this.

Watch this space as I’m moving in a couple months so can’t wait to order a bunch for myself!

I managed to convince mum that she had to mix her love for nature prints with something a little more artistic so that her gallery didn’t look dated. So we added a quote and graphic print that had the same colour scheme as her nature images to keep the continuity.

desenio hallway gallery At the top of the stairs we went with a simple shot of a warehouse with light beaming through the windows. This essentially adds a feel of openness in a place where you may not have any natural windows.

We got this in a large size (50×80) to add height and allow us to lean the image and surround it with plants and trinkets.

Finally for the stairway we mixed a range of quotes, abstract leaf shots and nature shots of birds to tell a bit of a “freeing” story.

Im not a fan of family photos on stairs, personally anever I  like that this collection of images has a narrative to it.

So that’s how I styled my prints. If you’d like to pick up some for yourself they’re offering my readers a generous 25% off an order when purchased between 28th February and the 2nd March simply use the code remagouyez25! Enjoy friends 🙂

A HUGE thank you to Desenio for jumping in when I made my order and sending me a whole bunch more. Can’t wait to show you what I do with the London flat!
