Summer, summer, summer time! I’m off to travel the west coast of Italy tomorrow and this – highly anticipated trip has led to slightly obsessive planning methods on my part. I have an excel doc of budget and itinerary breakdown as well as a googlemaps pinned with all the must-eat-at spots. I’d like to think I’ve modelled myself on Monica from Friends on this…
Tis the season to say goodbye to bright summer shades and hello to my two favourites: burgundy and hunter green. At the end of November I plan to revamp my wardrobe and fill it with classic greys, beige and black pieces to keep me going in the Winter but in the meantime I’m stocking up on some more affordable, seasonal additions. From hair shade to sunglasses, below are a few of my favourite autumn/winter style changes.
I know we just paid homage to my favourite shade of all time but this past Thanksgiving weekend played a big inspiration on my beauty, style and let’s be honest — food choices.
I spent the wonderful weekend eating a LOT of amazing food (most of which involved colours of orange, cream and brown — I love cheese and carbs).

Suffice to say my favourite shade when it comes to autumn (fall) is burgundy. What, you didn’t know?! From berry hues of handbags to deepened wine lips I’m all about mixing elements of this gorgeous autumn appropriate shade in to my wardrobe.
It lends itself marvellously to shades of black, mustard, cream and brown. Chocolate eyes and wine lips…one of my favourite looks for autumn.
