Hey friends! I’m giving the new Charlotte Tilbury Quick and Easy make up sets a go. Aside from the fact that they’re exceptionally great value for what you’re receiving – the product combinations aren’t disappointing at all. I’ve always had a fear of reddish brown make up. Latent memories of multiple aunts in gaudy dresses and obscene layers of makeup were all concluded with a few sweeps of the ’90s brown lip. A shade that’s still hugely popular in the Arab beauty world you know.

Matte lipsticks have long since been my jam. I’m talking, Stila’s All Day Liquid Lipstick, Nars’ Velvet Matte Pencils andShu Uemura’s My Dear Matte Lipsticks – all offering a prestige pout that’s stamped with a colourful approval.
Revlon’s Colorburst Matte Balms brought me a ton of joy with their silky finish and bold, beautiful colours but now their’s a new, affordable collection in town and I’m all swoons.
Enter Maybelline’s new Creamy Matte collection and boy are they just that. Creamy lippies in the most insatiable range of colours. I often say this when I’m really loving a product — these are so freakin’ good I want to eat em’.

Of course red is always my lipstick wardrobe of choice and this shade is pretty perfect.
