Spring accessories: my top three nail polish colours

{Trio of colours for a breezy spring day}

I love the pastel trend that’s taken over for fashion and beauty this spring. I can’t remember what the last few spring trends were. I’m guessing something along the same lines but I was never really in to the trends at this time of year. I was always an autumn girl myself. But this year saw a change. I’m pastel crazed and these polishes are just the beginning.

Up first is a gorgous colour by Revlon called ‘Polished’. This shade is the perfect nude/peach that works as a base for manicures – or – when layered, a sheer and feminine peach.

{mint – the colour of spring 2012}

My second favourite is this stunning mint green, ‘Absolutely Shore’ by Essie. I love the formula for Essie polishes. They have a neat, shiny finish that’s long-lasting. This reminds me of my love for ‘Nouvelle Vague” by Chanel.

{A bubblegum pink fit for any occasion}

This pink by OPI is perfect for an everyday girly look. ‘Pinking of you’ is a clean yet fun shade that’s great for casual or business wear. I like that it’s so wearable and I don’t have to think about whether or not it clashes with what I’m wearing.
