{Post gym showers}

After a hardcore session at the gym I’m always desperate to hit the showers to treat myself to feel like a million bucks. Over the summer I grew incredibly attached to Biotherm’s bodycare line and specifically so as part of my fitness routine — the beauty products you use can be just as important in making you feel good, you know!

{Exfoliate and cleanse}

I was initially sent the collection as part of their #SummerTreasures campaign but I’ll for sure be using this line when I want to feel nothing but refreshed throughout the year.

The thing I love most about the line is something I normally hate about beauty products, it’s lemony scent. When you’re feeling sweaty and gross it’s the best way to feel refreshed again!

The  Gentle Exfoliating Milk and Cleansing Shower Milk both feature an ultra-creamy base that hydrates your skin as it cleanses it, leaving you feeling and smelling nothing but clean.

Out of all of the moisturizers I’ve tried this has to the be the silkiest one. It literally melts on your skin and blends in so well. Grey patches of skin are instantly revived to beautiful when you’re done slathering on this Anti-Drying Body Milk.

{Keep clean}

I keep this deodorant at work for when i’ve hit the gym in my lunch breaks. It’s actually the first spray form that I’ve seen in Canada so far!

Do you know a brand that does spray deodorant?

What are your favourite post-gym products?

{A Biotherm Summer}

I just bought my first bike, ever. Sure I may have hit a car mirror or two, almost got run over by taxi and inherited a scar for life on my leg, but this summer has been #awesome so far. Aside from now commuting to work on my new bike I’m spending hours on end on the thing at the weekends. Taking trips down to the lake, these products are now a solid part of my routine and here’s why…

{The ones I go to bed with}

I’m having a love affair and every night it’s the same thing. Every night I get excited to pull out my Clarisonic (more to come on that) and every night I use my delicious Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup (YES! With the Clarisonic) to prep my face for the feast it’s about to have. Given that our skin is at it’s thirstiest between 11pm-2am, I’m sure to drench it in the goodness it deserves. I’m not talking sangrias here ladies. These are the ones that I go to bed with.

As the months get colder I find myself constantly reaching for some kind of moisturizer to soothe my dry hands. Sure, a regular moisturizer could do the job but I find that these, my top three hand creams, keep your hands soft and hydrated, without all the excess grease that you can often find with butters or oils.

My absolute favourite has to be The Body Shop’s Hemp hand cream. At $20 it’s the cheapest of the three but the best part is that it literally smells like Christmas to me. I’m not sure why, perhaps because I spend a little too much time in the store during Christmas period!

I like to have more than one moisturizer in my collection so that they’re easily accessibly throughout the day. The Hemp stays at my bedside as it’s the most hydrating which will leave my hands feeling super soft in the mornings. I keep the Biotherm one at my desk at home, it’s refreshing  clean and the least greasy of them all, perfect for when you’re handling paper or keyboards. The Crabtree and Evelyn Hand Therapy is my go-to for my desk at work. Beautiful packaging, a delicate, feminine scent and immediate, intense moisture.

Which would you pick?
