{Maybelline Kohl Liner by Color Show}

Oh hey there set of gorgeous pencil liners that are beautifully pigmented. I mean not that I’m surprised but Maybelline’s releases over the past year have been knocking it out of the beauty ball park and I’m all over these.

These pencils glide like butter over your skin so you won’t need to press down too hard on your lids to get that opaque coverage. Whether you’re enhancing your eyes with Graphite Grey, elevating your smokey eye with Ultra Black or adding a little Edgy Emerald to your beach babe look, these pencils will add impact with very little work.

From left to right

Edgy Emerald, Green Envy, Beauty Blue, Vibrant Violet, Chambray Blue, Turquoise Flash, Chocolate Chip, Graphite Grey, Sparkle Grey, Barely Beige, Marvellous Maroon, Ultra Black.

I’m a little too excited to play with the shade Chambray Blue (baby blueish), maybe I’ll wear it above a black liquid cat flick…

{My favourite shades}

Green Envy, Graphite Grey and Marvellous Maroon (over Chocolate Chip it creates a total Teddy dupe…) are my favourite day-to-day shades that pack a helluva punch. I can’t help but have a mad weakness for this deep green shade. It’s SO beautiful right?

The pencils are available at mass retailers from next week and they’re ONLY $5.99. I can’t even. The value  is beyond awesome. These were a press send, but I’m going need to a back up of my favs…

{’90s Make Up Style}

This week’s Fashionmagazine.com challenge was all about ’90s make up. To me 1990s beauty is all about Sarah Michelle Gellar à la Buffy The Vampire Slayerand Cindy Crawford (who still, by the way, looks exactly the same). When I think of these women I think of the way they used natural shades to emphasize what they already have. For this look, I started my base with my newest obsession: Revlon’s Nearly Naked foundation. I love the old school powdery finish it leaves on my face even though it’s a liquid, yet it still has that modern day touch of a brightening effect for a healthy glow.
