atelier cologne lancome bronze and glow

Writing this note from the sunny Greek Island of Corfu! Before the honeymoon feeling goes away and whilst I have enough time in the day…just wanted to share a few products that came with me on holiday and made a world of difference to my beauty routine.

rema gouyez summer beauty

When treating yourself to sun, sea and sand a luxurious hotel, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of having indulgent beauty products to compliment the luscious summer nights.

Nuxe – Huile De Prodigieuse

I can now absolutely see what all the fuss is about with this cult product. Bursting with Vitamin E this nourishing and hydrating multi-purpose oil is the perfect summer holiday moisturiser. Not only is it great for glowing skin, it works so well as a hair serum too! I’ve been drenching my hair in the stuff. THE SCENT is absolutely delicious, featuring notes of sweet almond and hazelnut. You could double this up as a massage oil 😉

nuxe dry oil

NuxeReve De Miel lip balm

Forever a firm favourite. Loaded with shea butter and honey it’s nourishing and smells good enough to eat . The best thing about this lip balm is that the hydration lasts for hours unlike most of my balms…

You can pick up both the oil and the lip balm for £35 instead of £42 if you grab it here.

Nuxe – Tanning Oil SPF 30

Smells exactly like summer holiday in bottle. Think Tropical fruits and vanilla. You will get a gorgeous glow with this oil but BE WARNED, you’ll need to apply generously and regularly if in direct and strong sun. I burnt my belly!

Lancome – Bronze and Glow Palette

Look no further for a deep, rich bronze. With my tan I’ve felt my Hoola bronzer was a little flat but this genourous palette offers a warm glow and the highlight is out of this world. Think natural, subtle but ‘lit-from-within’ light on your cheeks.

Charlotte Tilbury – Star Gold Shadow

I’m so lazy with eye make up so this all-over shadow is easy to blend with your finger and still has a professional looking finish. Go for this shade or the rose gold if you have fair skin.

Vichy – Ideal Body Extraordinary Shimmer Oil

I started layering this on my skin on holiday but now can’t help but add a few drops to my moisturiser during the day. Offering a shimmer and sheen to the skin that’s subtle but catches the light perfectly. Bronzed goddess must-have.

Atelier Cologne – Mimosa Indigo

With notes of white leather and you guessed it, mimosa, this perfume as fast become my summer favourite. It pains me a little to use it as I only have a 30ml and I want to make this baby last the season. I’ve had SO many compliments wearing it with comments like ‘you smell like sun lotion’ I love it. Despite there not being this note in the fragrance, you really can smell the coconut!

Smell the roses

Smell the roses

{Rendition of roses}

About a year ago I decided that the scent of rose was totally ‘cool’ and no longer reserved for grandma’s hand soap and talc. Rose in colour, rose in flavour, rose in scent. So many new beauty products were adopting the scent and I embrace it with open arms.

I recently purchased the Fresh Rose Floral Toner and that’s what set me off back in to the rose rhythm. An alcohol-free toner that isn’t an effort of adding an ‘extra step’ to your skincare routine. The spray pump allows for a refreshing, simple application. I love using this softly scented product to set my makeup when I’m done, it’s such a pretty touch.

dior rose lip balm

{Rose care for your lips}

Take Dior’s Creme De Rose Smoothing Lip Balm, a silky seduction of rose-scented care for your pout. Hydrating and protecting with an SPF 10, this pretty sits beautifully on my desk.

bdellium brush pink bamboo

{Tools of rose}

Bdellium brushes are impressive in their own right but the Pink Bamboo extension is for the princess in you. I adore this 975 Mixed powder brush for sweeping on my Les Beige or Ambient Lighting powder on.

dior darling polish

{Rose on your tips}

The quality of Dior polishes blew it out of the water in 2013 and the Darling addition to their permanent collection is the perfect hue of a true, rosey pink for your tips.

diptyque rose candle

{Your personal rose}

If anyone is going to achieve the perfect, rose scent, it’ll be Diptyque. A soothing rendition of the classic flower, this roses candle is the best to be burning while you work.

chloe roses de chloe

{The most romantic rose}

I fell in love with this fragrance from the initial spray to the delicate dry-down. Roses de Chloe is a luminous blend of fresh cut roses, bergamot, rose essence, magnolia accord, white musk and amber.

It’s incredibly romantic and perfect for date nights. You couldn’t be more feminine wearing this if you tried.
