Is Sunday glam a thing? Call me lazy but these are not the days I go the extra mile with my make up looks. Saying that, impromptu dates to the village pub after taking Akira for long walks in the woods has me wanting to make a bit of an effort
🙂 🙂 🙂
I’ve recently added a few new additions to my make up routine in general – pieces from NARS, Becca and Tarte. I have say, addicted to it all already. Shape Tape has a whole lotta hype around it but i totally get it – it’s a glorious under-eye concealer for me that makes it look like I’ve had more sleep than I have. Hand down the best for coverage.
This beauty look uses ten products to get an effortless sultry eye with a nude lip that is low maintenance when out for a casual day. Don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s unacceptable to smudge your eyeliner with your finger and call it a day. Words I live by!
Okay except ONE. Before I begin with my collection I should tell you that I’ve got one more on my list:
Smith and Cult’s – Regret the Moon. As soon as that baby is in (on) my hands I’ll pop it on this post.
Also, one I recently finished was Essie’s – Spin The Bottle. Fantastic, opaque and creamy nude that’s warm in its tone. See below – isn’t it pretty? You know what, fine I’ve convinced myself I need to pick up another bottle tomorrow.
Okay I digress click to read more on my current collection!
Tis the season to say goodbye to bright summer shades and hello to my two favourites: burgundy and hunter green. At the end of November I plan to revamp my wardrobe and fill it with classic greys, beige and black pieces to keep me going in the Winter but in the meantime I’m stocking up on some more affordable, seasonal additions. From hair shade to sunglasses, below are a few of my favourite autumn/winter style changes.
There’s something about YSL beauty packaging that sets it above the rest when you’re considering enhancing your collection. I’m not ashamed to say that when I reach for my pink and gold compact on the tube I like a littlebit of a boss lady. How can you not? Packaging aside it’s a brand of beauty products that I’ve always been impressed with (I can’t wait to tell you more about the new matte lipsticks) but flashy bullets aside there are a few products from the brand that I think should live in every girl’s make up bag. Alternatively if you’re just looking to add some YSL products in to your collection, this would be a great place.
