Obviously a new, glowing tan means you need to up your make up game, amirite? That being said, it does make it easy to have your make up look lush when you’re glowing…
Following two days of intense (but safe) tanning, I pulled out a few new products to give me a quick and easy bronzed look for the evenings. I won’t list everything I used but here are the core products to get the look.
I mean it says it all. Great coverage with a luminous finish and it’s not cakey. Think of this as a pumped up, tinted moisturiser for an absolutely radiant base. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and received so many compliments so it was the obvious choice for this look!
New for 2018, this palette features a myriad of shades to give a deep, bronze tan to your face (if like me you’ve been wearing SPF 50 layered up 100x to avoid premature ageing). The highlight in this palette is out of this world. I first saw it on a friend and quickly interrogated her for the answer to her ‘lit from within’ skin.
I’m so lazy with eye make up but this does the job quickly and will add to and enhance the golden glow. Apply with a loose, blending brush for a feathered and light application or apply with your finger for a ‘wet-lid’ look.
It’s here! Pulled together a little round up of the products I repeatedly reached for in 2017. I haven’t included skincare since a recent post I did covered that all off. Behold my hair, make up fragrance and nail favourites!
Is Sunday glam a thing? Call me lazy but these are not the days I go the extra mile with my make up looks. Saying that, impromptu dates to the village pub after taking Akira for long walks in the woods has me wanting to make a bit of an effort
🙂 🙂 🙂
I’ve recently added a few new additions to my make up routine in general – pieces from NARS, Becca and Tarte. I have say, addicted to it all already. Shape Tape has a whole lotta hype around it but i totally get it – it’s a glorious under-eye concealer for me that makes it look like I’ve had more sleep than I have. Hand down the best for coverage.
This beauty look uses ten products to get an effortless sultry eye with a nude lip that is low maintenance when out for a casual day. Don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s unacceptable to smudge your eyeliner with your finger and call it a day. Words I live by!
Okay except ONE. Before I begin with my collection I should tell you that I’ve got one more on my list:
Smith and Cult’s – Regret the Moon. As soon as that baby is in (on) my hands I’ll pop it on this post.
Also, one I recently finished was Essie’s – Spin The Bottle. Fantastic, opaque and creamy nude that’s warm in its tone. See below – isn’t it pretty? You know what, fine I’ve convinced myself I need to pick up another bottle tomorrow.
Okay I digress click to read more on my current collection!
